CANADA
- TXCR transports adopted dogs and foster dogs monthly from Texas to Ancaster, On.
- TXCR does adopt out of province, however, the adopter will need to travel to Ontario to pick up their dog.
- If you are adopting a dog that is being fostered in Ontario, the pick up location will be the Foster’s home.
- If you wish to adopt , please fill out an application at https://
texaschihuahuarescue.org/ applications/adoption/ to be pre-approved for adoption. - You only need to fill out one application, we keep them on file and once you’re approved you can request a hold on any dog.

TXCRCanada - The adoption fee is $700 CDN for puppies and adult dogs.
- The adoption fee covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter, any vetting, transportation from Texas to Ancaster, ON and general needs of the dog while in our care.
- Once you have filled out an application and you are working with a volunteer, they will be able to answer all your questions.
