Ichabod is approximately 7 years young and a tall slender 12 pounds. He is such a good boy. Very well mannered, quiet, has good potty manners, and walks on a leash. Ichabod really loves other dogs and cats and is good with people, shy and submissive at first meeting new friends. He does not like being alone though and prefers having a fur friend. He also gets very nervous going to the vet and riding in the car and shakes a lot. He just needs some positive reinforcement surrounding these things that make him afraid like going for a ride for a fun activity or pup cup, not just for the vet’s office. And a treat at the vet or a positive thing along with or after the vet’s office.
Ichabod was rescued from Atascosa ACS and was on the euthanasia list. He was already neutered as a puppy, chipped but the chip was not registered, and you can tell that he had a dental in the last year or two. We knew how well-mannered he was and the fact that someone vetted him, he belonged to someone, we tried to find his owner to no avail. It is now time for Ichabod to start a new chapter. He is a really well-mannered and gentle boy. He gets along with all people, well-mannered kids, baby puppies, large dogs, and old small, tiny chihuahuas. Would do fine in an apt or condo because he is so quiet and well-behaved. He does not need to be kenneled, he will not destroy anything or have a potty accident.
